The Altaro Partner Program:
Perpetual licensing and end-user subscriptions

As an IT reseller or VAR, you can buy perpetual licenses or annual subscriptions to our backup solutions and earn a margin of 15% to 30% when you sell them to your customers. You can then also sell Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA) renewals to perpetual license holders and subscription renewals.

Subscription Programs for
Managed Service Providers

If you provide managed services, we also have purpose-built subscription programs for you: Use our multi-tenant console to provide and centrally manage multiple backup services across all your customers at a price point you decide upon; and receive one convenient itemized invoice per month for easy billing.

"One of my Altaro customers was a Hyper V server connected to 10 workstations. The offsite feature of the Altaro backup saved this customer from a very nasty ransomware attack. When we set up the new Hyper V server with Altaro backup we decided that a self-imposed 10GB offsite backup limit was perfect for this customer and his 50GB of data. An employee clicked on an email on a Thursday and by that Friday, the network was suffering from a massive ransomware attack. That weekend, we were able to restore from the Altaro backup (with the help of Altaro's excellent support). We wiped out all 10 workstations to remove any and all infections. This success story is in stark contrast to another where Altaro was not in place but every other precaution was taken and yet, failure and data loss occurred.
