Inside Sales Team Leader


Due to our steady growth, we are now looking to hire an Inside Sales Team Leader to join us and help us grow our US & CA market share. With over 50,000 customers worldwide, we continue to expand and reach new markets at a rapid pace.

Based in our Malta office; the Inside Sales Team Leader will report and work closely with the Inside Sales Manager and with the US & CA Inside Sales Team to bring the best performance out of the team and overachieve targets.

The ideal candidate must be very confident speaking to people over the phone, be self-motivated and have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar sales role. Although not necessary an understanding of IT will be considered an asset.

This is a full-time role – Monday to Friday (14:30 to 23:00)

Main responsibilities:

  • Call / liaise with leads: help answer any questions and move them towards a purchase
  • Call / liaise with existing Altaro partners: offering them promotions and move them up the partner program
  • Answer / process incoming sales requests
  • Manage your sales pipeline through recording and tracking your leads and opportunities using our CRM
  • Work closely and supervise the US & CA Inside Sales Team
  • Assist with the daily requirements / queries
  • Work closely with the Inside Sales Manager to identify in which areas members of the team need training
  • Motivate the team members to push hard on a daily basis to overachieve targets
  • Help manage sales mailbox

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in a similar role will be considered an asset
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in making / receiving numerous calls per day
  • Experience looking for and successfully generating new business partnerships and customers
  • Full command of the English language (any other language would be considered an asset)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in using CRMs like Sugar / Salesforce will be considered an asset
