Freelance Writer – IT Security

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Writing technical articles on assignment, with topics and outline briefs provided by an editor
• Formulating text in accordance with prescribed editorial and formatting guidelines
• Ensuring accuracy and objectiveness in all writing assignments
• Responding to comments and/or questions on your contributions in a timely manner

Required skills and experience:

• Previous writing experience
• A strong, hands-on background in IT, with a particular focus on IT security
• Knowledge and interest in the latest technology and developments in IT security
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Maintaining originality in your work

Assets:

• Relevant IT certifications
• Experience writing with an SEO mindset
• Comfortable working with productivity tools such as Trello or similar
• Hands-on experience working with Wordpress or similar CMS
• Well-versed in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure security services
