"I am one of the network admins for Guardian Networks, an MSP based in Orange County, CA. I manage dozens of clients' on-prem, colo and cloud-based servers and networks. All of my production servers are virtual and I use VM Backup on every single one. I have been using it since 2014 and it is my go-to tool for backing up VMs. The installation takes only a couple of minutes and the configuration is as intuitive and painless as it gets. The user interface works the way you would expect it to, without unnecessary complexities or vendor-specific jargon. I have worked with many 3rd party backup solutions and some of them have been real nightmares. I have settled on VM Backup as my favorite tool. File- and folder-level restore, full VM restore, sandbox/test restore, backup to the cloud, alerts, they're all there. When I get a request to restore a file, for example, I can perform the task in a minute or two and that makes me and the client happy. I have never not been able to do a restore. Customer support is very good and you get to chat with or talk to a clear English-speaking tech who knows their product well. I have spoken to tech support on several occasions and although they're based out of EU, that has not been a problem for me. I would give them a 9 out of 10."

"Thanks a lot for saving the business of my client! One morning, I got a call from my client saying that he wasn't able to connect to his Windows 2012 RDP server. I connected remotely to the Hyper-V Host that runs the 4 virtual servers (Exchange, File&Print, WSUS, Domain Controller). I then went into Hyper-V manager and saw that 3 out of the 4 servers were crypto-locked using Ransomware! Luckily, I had completed the last physical server to virtual about 2 weeks before. I deleted the VM, went into your VM Backup solution and restored the last night's backup. It was also crypto-locked, so I repeated and restored the day before, and Bingo! they were back in business in less than 1h30 after this major crypto-locker! I was really amazed. If local backups had also been crypto-locked, I even had the Daily Offsite Copy, thanks to the magical compression you have!"

"The software seems too good to be true. It's extremely fast. Compression seems to be amazing. I don't know how you guys do this, or should I say, figured it out, to make things run so efficiently.

I find it hard to believe that in an emergency situation, your VM Backup solution can boot a VM from a backup. I'd like to say thanks to your tech support team. I had a customer server failing consistently over the period of a week. I didn't really think much of it because the VM was just a test server VM, but when I started investigating the cause, your tech support had me review logs and we determined the backup was failing due to bad blocks in the RAID Virtual disk, which lead me to discover some failed and predicted to fail drives. Sure, the customer should have seen the blinking orange light and called me, but that didn't happen. I replaced the drives and cleared the error flags and VM Backup backed up as expected. I will ALWAYS keep my customers support renewed. It's an important part of my tool kit. Great product and a great team of folks."
