Inside Sales Executive

Due to steady growth we are now looking to hire an Inside Sales Executive to join us. With over 50,000 customers worldwide, we continue to expand and reach new markets at a rapid pace; this position will help fuel our company’s growth.

We are looking for an experienced Inside Sales Executive who will call and email IT resellers and potential customers in the United Kingdom who have expressed interest in our solution, while handling quotations and queries. An important part of your role will be to drive business through our worldwide network of partners, nurturing and aiding them to become more successful.

We expect you to have excellent written and spoken English and must feel very confident speaking to people on the phone. You are expected to be self-motivated and have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar Sales role. Although not necessary, an understanding of IT will be considered an asset.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Call/liaise/qualify leads, help answer any questions and move them towards a purchase
  • Call/liaise with potential Altaro partners, offering promotions, moving them up partner program etc.
  • Search for new partners to recruit and help run various partner recruitment campaigns
  • Manage your sales pipeline through recording and tracking of your leads and opportunities using our CRM
  • Call/liaise with customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
  • Answer/process any incoming sales requests
  • Train and enable resellers to sell Altaro Software
  • Help manage sales mailbox
  • Qualify downloaded leads and work via Channel to accelerate revenue
  • Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events
  • Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into opportunities
  • Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Comfortable making numerous phone calls a day
  • Extremely confident on the phone
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Superb customer service skills.
