Nils Kaczenski says: “We like the way Oops!Backup came into the world with a community-driven beta program. As a leading online community faq-o-matic.net aims at giving IT professionals support in their jobs. They need solutions that work and very often they are willing to give something back to the community. They can, helping in IT forums or as authors on blogs like ours. Now, after five successful years with our IT authors blog faq-o-matic.net the ACOP assists us to give something back to our readers. I am certain they will be as convinced of Oops!Backup as a document recovery solution as we are.”

Altaro Software urges communities interested in ACOP to visit the Altaro ACOP site  at http://www.altaro.com/community-outreach-program.php for more information about the program.

Oops!Backup is a Backup and Automatic Versioning solution for documents, images and other files which automatically tracks changes to user-generated content. Oops!Backup is unique in that it not only backs up and recovers the most recent version of a file but also allow users to go back in time and very easily restore older versions of their work - that is, it stores a historical record of the different changes made to a file in that file's lifespan.

About Altaro Software

Altaro Software, a young company based in Malta Europe, employs enthusiastic people who understand that one way to innovate is to take a step back from the implementation details and ask three important questions: How does it work?; Why is it done like that? and most importantly: Says Who?   Through answers to these questions we can break through complacencies in problem-solving and what is sometimes wrongly referred to as ‘Common Wisdom’ – the acceptance of something as is just because everyone does it that way. This philosophy is represented in Altaro's first product – Oops!Backup.
